E-commerce portal for IBM Partners

IBM is one of the world’s leading companies in information processing, with over 300,000 employees and partners all around the world.

IBM Nordic wanted to offer its Business Partners an efficient tool for e-commerce. The solution chosen was based on Netset Etailer. IBM Etailer covers the entire chain from manufacturer– via distributors and distributors – to end customers.

All IBM's business partners in Scandinavia were offered their own e-commerce solution through IBM Etailer. They have access to selected parts of the IBM product range and current campaigns. Sophisticated tools permit comparisons between products and product searches, all the way down to parameter level. In this way, IBM Etailer serves both as an online web catalog for the sellers and a webshop for their own customers.

IBM Etailer also shows distributors’ stock levels and purchase prices in real time. When the end customer places an order, IBM BP decides who will be delivering it.
