Netset supplies IBM with e-commerce portal

The solution supplied is based on Netset Etailer. This project touches upon the e-commerce model we have previously supplied.

The solution integrates the entire value chain: Manufacturer – Distributor chain – Reseller network – End customers. Briefly, the biggest advantage of the solution is that the first three links in the chain can easily communicate and market the same offer towards the market.
IBM’s business partners in Scandinavia are offered their own e-commerce solution via the portal. This contains selected parts of the IBM product range and current campaigns. The portal contains sophisticated tools with functions such as comparisons between products or product searches at parameter level. The business partner is also able to supplement the range.
The solution is supplied on a Scandinavian basis and IBM’s distributors are included in the model at national level. The distributors can also provide the included business partners with access to stock levels and purchase prices in real time, and allow them to place on-line orders through the model.
